The chili is delicious! I’m looking forward to trying more of the menu. Update for 2nd. trip, coneys ate not too good. Buns are not steamed. Coney burger patty was about 20 per cent smaller than bun: took me three bites to finally hit the meat. They probably did this b/c the chili can hide the patty. First time, my chili came w/ my meal. That’s a huge no-no. It should be served beforehand like soup. Update* don’t let the photos fool you, every time I have been here it has sucked. The staff is rude & incompetent. This time, we walk in 15 mins. before close & the young brunette waitress made sure we were just getting our food to-go. If I wanted good to-go I would have gone anywhere else for less like McDonald’s. I hate food to-go. Never again.
Little Joe's Coney Island
About this place
Step into Little Joe's Coney Island off the streets of Warren and you get a neighborhood pace without the showroom polish. an easygoing pace does the quiet work of making strangers feel expected.
What lands on the table tends to be specific rather than generic: think house specialties, plates built for sharing, and the kitchen's daily strengths prepared without theatrics.
If you are mapping a Warren evening, put Little Joe's Coney Island where you can stay for a second round instead of sprinting to the next pin. Weeknights usually run quieter than weekends. The listing address is 13564 E 9 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48089.
If your notes for Warren need one reliable kitchen, start here. Little Joe's Coney Island earns the ink with a solid meal and a room that remembers hospitality.
Before you visit, skim recent neighbor notes on the listing and confirm hours on the door. Platefolk keeps this page as a field guide, not a frozen brochure - the best proof is still sitting down for a meal.
What we value here is consistency: a kitchen that repeats its strengths, a room that does not treat guests like tickets, and a Little Joe's Coney Island visit that still feels worth the trip across town. Bring curiosity, order something the staff recommends, and leave a short note afterward so the next diner arrives wiser.

Awesome food and service! Highly recommend the corned beef and stir fry. Enjoy coming in and seeing the friendly vibes and they greet you by your name. The owner takes pride in his restaurant and the staff is always so friendly.
My wife of 8 yrs lived a mile away from Little Joe's. Her & her kids had been regulars there. When we married she moved in with me 14 miles away, but anytime we'd go out to a "family restaurant", she'd tell me how good Little Joe's was. Finally she got me over there and she was right! Not only is LJ's a damn good family restaurant, it's *way* better than ANY of the "chain" coneys! Food is far better and the specials are great! Everyone there is family and it shows.
First time customer yesterday (Saturday)everything was absolutely amazing! Our server Quinny was the best, she gave us some great suggestion seeing how it was our first time to which we took her advice and our food was exactly what we wanted!! Hot,fresh and the potions were huge! We can't wait to come visit again! Thanks little Joe's and Quinny for such a fantastic experience definitely will be bringing the rest of the family next time!! Quinn and the rest of the staff made us feel like family from the moment we walked in the door!!! Highly recommend this place and if you get the chance ask for Quinn she is one of a kind server!! 10/10
Best Mom & Pop Coney Island around run completely by family, Tina & Nick are so nice & Tina can cook some excellent food & their 2 daughters are as sweet as pie. The food & service is beyond awesome & the portions OMG....Love this place you won't be sorry you stopped here at all.....this is the only place where my grandson wants to go especially for cheese fries.
I ordered a Greek grilled chicken pita. The young lady that took my order over the phone asked if it was okay that their olives have pits. Most restaurant olives do,I was fine with it.Did they take the pits out?I’m cracking up but feeling special at the same time just thinking they did.❤️It was delicious.
We are frequent visitors as we live around the corner. Today we came in & didn’t realize it was so close to 4pm; so we respectfully ordered our food to go. Our total was $30.17 and a new waitress waited on us.The super patty melt ordered was made with a piece of chicken. It would have been edible however it was smashed to the tiniest driest piece of chicken. Definitely disappointed.
Stopped in today at Little Joe's and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the B.L.T. with their delicious onion rings and it did not disappoint! The bacon was cooked to perfection and had perfect flavor. Their staff was also top notch. The servers were very polite and prompt as well. I definitely recommend little joes if you want a quality meal for a price you can't beat!
If you haven’t been to Little Joe’s Coney Island yet, you’re missing out on one of the best local spots around. The food here is always fresh and full of flavor, the kind that makes you feel right at home. From their Coney dogs and juicy burgers to their breakfasts and daily specials, everything tastes like it’s made with real care. My personal favorite is the little joes skillet, it's heaven in a dish. The people who work here are just as great. They’re friendly, quick, and genuinely make you feel welcome every time you walk in. Whether you come in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you’ll always get a good meal and leave happy. If you’re looking for a place with great food, generous portions, and that real hometown feel, give Little Joe’s a try. After one visit, you’ll understand why so many folks keep coming back.
Food is excellent. Ordered the country boy omelette. Perfect amount of sausage gravy. The description didn’t lie when it says it’s smothered. The amount of sausage stuffed inside is Overwhelming. I do wish they offered a Polish omelette. A country boy is my second favorite go to omelette. This place and Liz ham cafe are now my two favorite breakfast places. I can’t wait to try more food from here. Highly recommend giving this place a try!Update. 5/29/25 order a breaded chicken pita. Size wise great, but taste wise wasn’t great. Soggy, dry chicken, large chunks of tomatoes, that should have gone in the trash. Disappointed.Food: 4/5
